Tailwind Traders has begun migrating some existing workloads to the cloud and ensuring that new workloads are cloud-native where appropriate.
Instead of hosting all workloads exclusively on-premises or exclusively in Azure, Tailwind Traders takes advantage of the technologies that best meet its needs.
In this module, you learned about various Azure hybrid technologies, including those related to networking, identity, compute, data, and security.
You also learned how these technologies can work together to provide Tailwind Traders with solutions tailored to its challenges.
You learned:
- What hybrid cloud means
- Networking options between on-premises workloads and Azure
- How to provide consistent identity in a hybrid environment
- Compute options for hybrid cloud, including for multi-tier applications (cloud + on-premises)
- File and data management solutions in the cloud
- Monitoring and security management technologies in hybrid environments
